Wine Bodega La Ermita Rioja. 6 bottles of 750 ml

From our own Tempranillo vineyard at the foot of the Sierra Toloño or Sierra Cantabria in Rioja Alavesa in the Paraje El Peringuillo at an altitude of 700 m above sea level and where the Villacardiel stream that feeds the river Ebro crosses. Terraced cultivation exposed to the south and protected by the flanks of the mountain range. Loamy soils with a high calcareous content, deep and poor in organic matter.

The grapes are harvested at the end of September, destemmed without breaking the grapes. Made in truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with periodic movement of the mass using the fermentation gases.

Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks and subsequent ageing in American and French oak barrels. Subsequent racking and light filtration before ageing in the bottle. Unclarified.
